WrapPoint App Privacy Policy

The short version. WrapPoint collects location, and only location, and only for the one load you agreed to share. There is no account, we never ask for your name, tracking ends when the load is delivered, and nothing is sold to anyone.

This Privacy Policy describes how WrapPoint, a mobile application operated by Accordion Investments LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the application ("App"). WrapPoint is a load tracking app for truck drivers and is separate from the LoadWrap TMS and LoadWrap Driver applications, which have their own privacy policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

None. WrapPoint has no accounts and no sign up. You are not asked for your name, your email address, your phone number, your company, or your driver license. The App identifies a load, not a person.

Location Information

The App collects location data, including precise location from your device GPS, together with speed, direction and accuracy. Location is collected only after you grant location permission on your device, and only while you are actively sharing position for a load you opened yourself.

Location is used for one purpose: to show the broker who issued your tracking link where the shipment is, so that nobody has to call you for check calls. It is also used to detect arrival and departure at the pickup and delivery on that load.

Location may be collected while the App is running in the background and your screen is off, because a driver cannot hold an app open while driving. Background collection runs only while a load is active, and it stops when the load is delivered, when the broker closes tracking, or when you press Stop.

We do not sell location data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to build any profile about you. The App collects nothing at all when you are not sharing a load.

Positions that cannot be sent yet, because you are out of signal, are stored on your own phone until they are delivered, and then removed.

You can withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings. If you do, the App simply stops sharing.

Load Information

The App receives the tracking code from the link your broker sent you, along with the pickup and delivery details of that load, so you can see what you are agreeing to share before you start.

Device Information

The App reports whether it is reachable and how many positions are waiting to be sent, so the broker is never shown a false green light while nothing is arriving. We do not collect device identifiers, we do not use advertising identifiers, and the App sends no push notifications.

We do not sell your personal information. Your position is shared with the broker who issued the tracking link for that load, and only while tracking is running. They do not see where you were before tracking started, where you go after it ends, or anything you do for any other company. We may also share information with service providers who help us operate the App, and with law enforcement when required by law.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Position history for a load is kept while the load is active and for up to 90 days afterwards, because that is the window in which detention, delays and delivery times get disputed. After that it is deleted. Uninstalling the App removes everything stored on your phone. You may request deletion of the position history for a load you drove by writing to support@loadwrap.com. We complete deletion requests within 30 days.

The App is a commercial tool for professional drivers and is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy at this address and updating the "Last Updated" date.
